Summer Concert 2024
The image in our poster was kindly loaned to us by the amazing Sam Cannon. Please go to her website and take some time to see all her beautiful work: samcannonart.co.uk
A very happy looking choir, having just given its best performance ever!
A very relaxed rehearsal of a programme full of our greatest hits!
And somehow (despite the tennis and the football) we managed to pretty much fill the largest church we've ever performed in. Thank you to St Peter and St Paul for having us!
Thanks also to all those who performed, but especially our soloists: Jasmine, Gemma and Ruth. Also the technical team, the 'roadies' who helped get everything into and out of the church, the front of house team who sold tickets and of course the valiant ladies who made cake and everyone who helped dish it out! Are there any pictures of the cakes? I always forget to get pictures of the cakes... (Glottys x)
Finally, we're extremely grateful to Gemma for all the support she provided to choir members in the build-up to the concert.

Spring Concert 2024
We are 100 strong! And so we've been celebrating this with a lovely selection of songs in St John the Divine in Elmswell. And a packed church watched performances of a wide range of songs from the choir with brilliant solos from Caitlin, Jane and Gemma!
Three images from our guest photographer: Gavin Mills. Above: the whole choir seen from the balcony. Below: Elaine Vel is our 100th member!
Here's a flavour of how great it all sounded. Solo in 'Blue Moon' by Gemma.
And afterwards we had cake. Much cake. Thank you to everyone who baked cakes!

Christmas Concert 2023
Our third celebration of Christmas took place in December 2023
at St Mary's Church, Woolpit. Our best yet!
Below you can hear some of the great choral highlights and see how amazing the event looked...

Music Theory Classes
During the Autumn term of 2023, Anna offered classes in music theory to members of Song Circle. They were held at Anna's house and this allowed for some additional 'help' by some of the furrier occupants of the house... two of whom insisted on joining in!

Summer Concert 2023
This year's summer concert took place in St Mary's Church in Ixworth and was notable because it featured not one but two unaccompanied pieces for the first time in the history of choir. Both are featured below and we think you'll agree that they sound rather lovely!
Those who attended the concert will also no doubt recall a very moving solo rendition of 'Send In The Clowns' by choir member Frances Brown. It was her first ever solo (*), performed to inspire her grandchildren. And judging by the rapturous applause, she inspired everyone in the audience too!
(*) Anna is always happy to work on songs with aspiring soloists in her private teaching practice

Christmas Concert 2022
We held our second concert at St Peters Church, Thurston surrounded by the wonderful spectacle of the Christmas tree festival.
Songs from the shows and sing-along Christmas carols finished a wonderful year for our choir, along with some amazing Christmas jumpers and outfits.

December 2022
We were asked to perform at a Christmas Fair at the Blackbourne centre in Elmswell.
We donned our best Christmas jumpers and sang carols. We had such a lovely time and it was lovely to be asked to support the event and spread some Christmas cheer.

November 2022
We had a wonderful evening at the Theatre Royal in Norwich where a group of us went to see Gareth Malone on tour. There was much singing, dancing and laughter.
October 2022
We had the pleasure of the wonderful British Mezzo Soprano Diana Moore, supporting us with a full day coaching workshop to help our choir grow and develop.
The day was wonderful with soloists from the choir performing and receiving one to one coaching with Diana herself. It was very emotional, uplifting, fun and entertaining.
Thank you to Diana Moore who supported us and made a truly special day.
